About the Speaker

Greg Danis, Special Investigation Unit - State Fund

Mr. Danis is a 20 year veteran at the State Compensation Insurance Fund.  Since 2001, he has been working as a Supervisor in the Special Investigation Unit.  His experience at State Fund also includes working as an Audit Supervisor, Senior Auditor and Claims Adjuster.  He currently supervises 13 SIU investigators who focus on workers compensation fraud cases.  Over the years, he and his team have successfully worked with the California Department of Insurance, Fraud Division and local District Attorneys across the state on numerous multi- million dollar fraud cases including one of the largest premium fraud cases in California history. 

 

He earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from California State University, Northridge.
