Leases: Commercial and Residential

A course designed to familiarize the insurance professional with the various commercial and industrial lease forms and provisions they will encounter when working with their clients, whether building owners or tenants.  This will provide information on everything from ground leases to gross leases, provide information on the contents of the standard lease forms (AIR, CAR and Specially Prepared).  It will give you direction on the insuring parties, hazardous substances clauses, indemnity agreements and other key lease provisions and summarize with dealing with risk through insurance. (No, we cannot provide insurance for all those wonderful clauses.) A must if you are writing commercial insurance coverage for either landlords or their tenants.FEATURED SPEAKER

Richard S. Price II

Rick Price was born in Whittier and raised in La Habra. He attended the University of California at Riverside where he graduated with high honors with a degree in Economics. Following graduation, he enrolled at the University of California, Davis School of Law, graduating in 1982.

Rick has been practicing law in Fullerton since 1984 with the firm of Ballard, Wimer, Brockett & Edwards. Rick specializes in real estate and business law. His clients are primarily small to medium sized businesses located in Southern California, but also include national and publicly traded companies.

Rick is an "AV" rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating for legal ability and ethical standards.  Since 1987 Rick has been acting as a Judge Pro Tem in the Orange County Superior Court. In 1994 was selected to act as an Arbitrator in the Orange County Superior Court. He has also acted as a private mediator.

Rick is admitted to practice law in all courts in the State of California, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal and the United States Supreme Court.
