IIABOC and Stone / Dean LLP are pleased to offer a three hour Mock Trial presentation involving the wrongful death of a patron at a restaurant, and the insurance professionals who are blamed when the restaurant’s insurance carrier denies coverage.

A marital spat turns deadly when Manny Machiesmo, a pro football player, gets into a brawl with his wife at a popular restaurant in Los Angeles called Rowdy Bar & Grill. Rowdy’s bouncer breaks it up, but in the process Machiesmo falls to the ground and sustains a lethal blow to his head. The Widow Machiesmo sues Rowdy for wrongful death.
